The Seeds of Greatness
“The seeds of greatness grow faster in the hearts of those doing work they love than in the bitter hearts of those enslaved by work they despise.” – Brendan Burchard
Deep calls to deep in this quote. We all have seeds of greatness in us. The question is how we nurture them.
For too long I’ve seen entrepreneurs pursuing big goals and following industry models, hating what they have to do but justifying it in the name of getting out of their comfort zone.
They have bitter hearts enslaved by lead generation methods they despise.
And more than once, when asked why they do it, the answer has come back… “Because that’s what you have to do to be successful.”
They may make a lot of money. They may have earned their stripes. They may have even developed themselves as a human being.
But they’ve missed their calling. They’ve missed a chance to build their empire on purpose and passion and greatness. They’ve limited their reach and influence by not leading from their soul but rather their strategy.
The good news is that all people want greatness and we can nurture that greatness in a heart that is engaged in work we love.
What work do you love? Sow your seeds there and watch your legacy grow.
